Suzanne grew up in this beautiful custom house her father designed. When her parents retired to California, Suzanne became president of Aselco and took over running the company. We ended up living here for a number of years before we escaped to the countryHere's and interesting story about Suzanne's dad's days as a spy in the Danish underground.

Ray McMurry, Captain of the Skiroule Racing Team at the the winter show in Toronto 1968 riding an RTX 800 cc factory modified machine.  I was a member of the Skiroule team for 2 season, then I was invited by Bob Gaston to join the Allouette Racing Team. We had a young guy from Quebec only 17 years old, a young Gilles Villeneuve. At the time Bombardier hired John Cordts, a Grande Prix driver; that didn't last too long. You had to be a special kind of crazy to race open modified in the OSRF.
I stopped by the Skiroule factory on Doncaster in Thornhill, there it was, a dream come true, a factory modified 800 cc beast.  I just left my schoolbooks on a crate and went off racing for a few years. First thing we took the motor to our friend Toni Perroni in Whitby for some real high performance polishing and porting. It lasted for one race at the Kawartha Cup in Peterborough, I finished first before the engine blew up. We drove back to the factory overnight to pick up a replacement piston and were racing again on Sunday.
Sculpture by Fritz Wotruba. I was commissioned by the late Walter Carsen of Thornhill to produce a catalogue of his private art collection for Expo 67.

I had one of the few labs doing this kind of work in Toronto at the time.
ISM Integrated Sales Manager Software reviewed by BYTE Magazine. Rated in the top 10 packages on the market; ours was the fastest. Every major computer manufacturer had ISM on their laptops at Comdex in Las Vegas 4 years running. Those were the days.
It was my program design, we hired a wiz kid to punch in the code. He came up with this algorithm reallocating RAM on the fly; it was faster and more elegant than anything else out there.

Alexander Campbell McLoud; Graphic artist
His famous poster BLUSA, was placed beside a work by A.Y. Jackson, Artist's in Canada Last 50 Years.  Alex was my friend, we did the town for a few years. John Lennon selected Alex to design his personal letterhead.  Alex was born in Scotland, studied accounting, but somehow ended up as an extraordinary graphic artist, poet, and literary genius. Self taught, he knew more about classic literature then any PhD I ever met.  McLoud was definetly cool.

I was hired by Rudolf Nureyev's agent Simon Seminov to photograph Rudolf during a live performance at the O'Keefe Center 1970. It was the only time Nureyev ever permitted himself to be photographed from the audience during a live performance.  Previously in Germany, Nureyev walked off the stage during a performance when he heard a click in the audience. Evening over.
